By the end of this course you will complete a mini portfolio of creative designs and leave with a clear understanding of how to transfer your ideas to paper in preparation for the next important step, the manufacturing of the piece.
Starting with foundation techniques and essential jewellery knowledge join this programme to discover creative variation with effective tracing techniques to achieve amazing results. Develop expert jewellery sketching and draughting skills, understand the importance of major forms and shapes in different views, draw gemstones and typical jewellery settings, components and findings. Discover the manufacturing techniques commonly used from the past to present day and learn about the Elements and Principles of good design. Complete the course with an accurate drawing of a pendant with matching style chain.

Students will receive everything they need to complete all their coursework. This course includes all the tools, drawing and reference materials needed in order to draw fantastic jewellery.
This course offers a design experience. At the end of the workshop, participants will have designed their own jewellery.
